We started this testimonials page simply because we have learnt from experience never to call a business who cannot validate the work that they do.

Excellent standard of workmanship. Martin gave me a quotation and has come right on budget. He removed the old tiles from a downstairs cloakroom, re plastered the walls and ceiling (to remove artex from the ceiling) painted the walls and ceiling, fitted a wash basin and WC and re tiled the floor and behind the washbasin all to an exceptionally high quality. He is a clean and efficient worker who is polite and cleans up to a high standard. Fantastic quality of finish and i work certainly have him back to do other jobs.

Martin completely refurbished our ensuite bathroom in April 2013. He stripped out the old bathroom completely back to bare walls and started from scratch.
The finished bathroom is simply superb.

This is the third time that we have used Martin, and he has never let us down. The first time he plastered our kitchen, the second time he tiled one of our bathroom floors and this time he has totally redecorated our downstairs toilet. He plastered the walls and ceiling, put new flooring down, painted, fitted the toilet and sink and did some tiling. Living in a park home often makes it difficult to have work done but this was not a problem to Martin. He made very good suggestions about how to improve our bathrooms and his quote was very comprehensive, detailing all the work to be carried out and an estimate of the time required to complete the job.
The work itself was very well done in a clean and timely manner and Martin was very polite and professional at all times. He even recalculated his final charge to take account of materials he had quoted for but not needed – how often does that happen ?

Martin recently completed the refurbishment of our en-suite bathroom and main family bathroom and has done an amazing job. Firstly, Martin’s initial visit to produce his quote was very good, as he provided a lot of input into how we could finish the bathrooms, recommending lights, types of tiles and also discussing how the work would progress. This put us at ease straight away and his professionalism was obvious.
The quote produced was detailed and clearly showed the effort that would be required to complete the work and also highlighted a lot of detail that other tradesman don’t necessarily include, such as the type of grout he uses and why he uses it. Any questions we had were answered quickly and clearly so we knew there would be no issues with the work.
Martin was on site with us for nearly 4 weeks and did a fantastic job. He is very clean and tidy and his attention to detail was great – our little girl loved seeing Martin each day after school!! Any queries Martin had were discussed with us and options were given so we always made the final decision on things. I have been very impressed with Martin’s work and our bathrooms have been transformed – the decision to include new lights has made a massive difference. Our old bathrooms were very tired and really needed to be updated and now we have 2 lovely rooms that will last us for a long time!

Martin was engaged by us to undertake major works to totally refurbish both the bathroom and en- suite shower room following a recommendation made by the supplier of our sanitary ware ,tiles and other accessories namely, Cascades of Northwich who also drew up the plans of the work to be undertaken.
Martin made initial contact with us once appointed to assess the scope of the work from the plans supplied and give us a separate quote for the work required. This was very detailed and provided promptly which enabled us to make a quick decision knowing exactly what was going to be done and when.
The project commenced with the stripping out in week 1 followed by fitting in week 2. The co-ordination and organisation between other contractors required on site i.e. Electrician and supplier of materials was also well planned. Martin arrived promptly every day and worked to his own efficient schedule to ensure the job was completed as planned.
We are very pleased with the overall outcome which has transformed our facilities beyond our expectations. The standard of work was excellent and the attention to detail was very impressive. Martin made excellent provision to cover all existing carpets up the stairs and in the bedrooms to minimise dust as far is a practical and he cleared up at the end of every day. He was also very knowledgeable and accommodating in doing other little jobs that arose along the way by fitting a window blind in the shower room and other minor tasks that we requested.
As we were both working we had total trust in giving Martin a key to the property to work in our absence and he did this splendidly without any problems. In the event that he needed to contact either of us for clarification on any aspect of the project, we were always at the end of a mobile phone which gave both parties excellent flexibility.
We would have no reservations about recommending Martin to any other client and if we needed similar work doing in future he would be the first person we would contact.
